REGULATION (EEC) No 3594/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 28 December 1973

on the opening, allocation and administration of a Community tariff quota for hand woven fabrics of silk, waste silk other than noil, and cotton, falling within subheadings Nos ex 50.09 and ex 55.09 of the Common Customs Tariff

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , of those Member States for imports from third countries should from that date onwards be covered by the tariff quotas in question during the period Having regard to the Treaty establishing the thereof; whereas the duties to be applied by those European Economic Community, and in particular Member States under the said quotas must be in Article 113 thereof; conformity with the relevant provisions of the Act of Accession : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ;

Article8¶

Article 5 Member States shall inform the Commission at regular intervals of imports actually charged against their shares. It may return a greater portion if there are grounds for believing that it may not be used up. Member States and the Commission shall cooperate closely in order to ensure that this Regulation is observed.
