COUNCIL DIRECTIVE of 10 April 1974 amending Directive No 71 / 286/ EEC concerning the statistical surveys to be carried out by the Member States in order to determine the production potential of plantations of certain types of fruit trees

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas steps should therefore be taken to include COMMUNITIES , also in the scope of the aforementioned Directive the survey and reports made by certain Member States Having reagard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ only after the expiry of the time-limits initially laid pean Economic Community, and in particular Article down , 43 thereof ;

Whereas pursuant to Directive No 71 / 286/ EEC (2 ), Member States are under obligation to carry out in Article- 1 1972, and in the spring of each fifth year thereafter, surveys on plantations of fruit trees existing on their territories for the production of dessert apples , dessert The following Article shall be added to Directive pears , peaches and oranges ; 71 / 286 / EEC :
