REGULATION ( EEC) No 101 / 74 OF THE COMMISSION of 15 January 1974 altering the minimum selling price fixed by Regulation (EEC) Nos 1282/72 and 1717 / 72 on the sale of butter at a reduced price

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 804/68 (') of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in milk and milk products, as last amended by the Act (2 ) concerning the Conditions of Article 1 Accession and the Adjustments to the Treaties, and in particular Article 6 (7) thereof ; 1 . In Article 2 of Regulation ( EEC) No 1282/72 and in Article 3(1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1717/ 72, Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No the amount ' 35 units of account' is replaced by the 1282/72 (3) of 21 June 1972 on the sale of butter at a amount ' 40 units of account'. reduced price to the army and similar forces, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1398 /73 (4 ), and 2. In Article 5(1 ) (b) of Regulation ( EEC) No Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 1717/72 (5), of 8 1282/72 and in Article 6(1 ) of Regulation ( EEC) No August 1972 on. the sale of butter at a reduced price to 1717/72, the amount ' 145 units of account' is replaced non-profit-making institutions and organizations, as by the amount ' 140 units of account'. last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1398 /73 , fix a minimum price at which intervention agencies are to sell butter ; whereas in view of the increase in the Article 2 prices of competing edible oils and fats, a slight increase in the minimum selling price in question This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day might be envisaged ; whereas the amount of the following its publication in the Official Journal of deposit provided for in those Regulations should be the European Communities. It shall apply from 1 adjusted accordingly ; April 1974.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
