REGULATION ( EEC) No 144/ 74 OF THE COMMISSION of 18 January 1974 opening a new invitation to tender for the mobilization of common wheat as food aid for the Arabian Republic of Yemen
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN tions arising by virtue of participation in the invita COMMUNITIES , tion to tender for supplies to the Arabian Republic of Yemen will be fulfilled ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the French intervention agency should , in any event, be made responsible for the tendering Having regard to Council Regulation No 120/ procedure in question ; 67/ EEC (') of 13 June 1967 on the common organiza tion of the market in cereals, as last amended by Regu lation ( EEC) No 1 346/73 (-) ; Whereas the Commission must be informed quickly of the tenders submitted in response to the invitation Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No and of those accepted by the intervention agency ; 1 693 / 72 (3 ) of 3 August 1972 laying down the condi tions for the mobilization of cereals as food aid , and Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation in particular Article 6 thereof ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage ment Committee for Cereals , Whereas on 23 May 1973 the Council of the Euro pean Communities declared that by way of Commu nity action it proposed to grant the Arabian Republic of Yemen 4 000 metric tons of common wheat under its 1971 /72 food aid programme ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :
Whereas the invitation to tender opened in the Community under Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 3189 / 73 (4 ) of 23 November 1973 opening an invita Article 1 tion to tender for the mobilization of common wheat as food aid for the Arabian Republic of Yemen was 1 .
