REGULATION (EEC) No 424/ 74 OF THE COMMISSION of 20 February 1974 amending Regulation (EEC) No 71 /73 on the sale of butter from public stocks

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 804/68 (*) of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in milk and milk products, as last amended by the Act (2) concerning the Conditions of Article 1 Accession and the Adjustments to the Treaties, and in particular Article 6 (7) thereof ; In Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 71 /73 the date '1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 71 /73 (3) August 1973' is replaced by '1 October 1973'. of 4 January 1973 on the sale of butter from public stocks, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3408/73 (4), fixed the limiting date of entry into Article 2 public stock for the butter sold to 1 August 1973 ; whereas it is necessary to modify this date because of This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its the evolution of butter stocks in the Community ; publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
