REGULATION ( EEC) No 876 / 74 OF THE COMMISSION of 10 April 1974 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 2500 / 73 on the advance fixing of refunds and the period of validity of export licences for milk and milk products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN therefore , in order to facilitate marketing of the COMMUNITIES , product concerned, the period of validity of the export licence should be fixed at 60 days for this product ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products , 804/ 68 ( J ) of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in milk and milk products , as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 662/ 74 ( 2 ), and in HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : particular Articles 13 (3) and 17 (4) thereof ; Article 1 Whereas under Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 2500/73 (3) of 13 September 1973 on the advance In Annex II to Regulation ( EEC) No 2500/ 73 the fixing of refunds and the period of validity of export entry against (a) in the period of validity column is licences for milk and milk products , as last amended changed from '30 days' to ' 60 days'. by Regulation (EEC) No 3547/73 (4 ), the period of validity of export licences for butter, excluding Article 2 butteroil , is limited to 30 days ; whereas current diffi­ culties in obtaining shipping may make it impossible This Regulation shall enter into force on 16 April 1974 . to export within the prescribed time limit ; whereas ,

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
