REGULATION (EEC) No 931 / 74 OF THE COMMISSION of 19 April 1974 amending Regulation (EEC) No 242/73 laying down general rules for the imple­ mentation of the arrangements for importing sugar into the United Kingdom within the terms of the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN competent body for imports to be effected from 1 COMMUNITIES, February 1973 ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Whereas the entry into force of the rules laid down in Economic Community ; Article 7 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No 242/73 should be postponed to enable the special import arrangements Having regard to the Treaty concerning the Accession in question to work without too much inconvenience of new Member States to the European Economic for those concerned or for the competent body Community and to the European Atomic Energy referred to above ; Community signed in Brussels on 22 January 1972, and in particular Article 63 ( 1 ) of the Act (') annexed Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation to the aforementioned Treaty ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Sugar, Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 242/73 (2) of 31 January 1973 , laying down general rules for the HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : implementation of the arrangements for importing sugar into the United Kingdom within the terms of Article 1 the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement and Commis­ sion Regulation ( EEC) No 475/73 (3) of 31 January By way of derogation from Article 7 (2) of Regulation 1973 concerning the detailed arrangements for the ( EEC) No 242/73 the weighted averages referred to in import of sugar under the Commonwealth Sugar that paragraph shall be calculated from 1 April 1973 .
