REGULATION (EEC) No 1127/74 OF THE COUNCIL

fixing, for the 1974/75 marketing year, the monthly price increases for cereals, wheat and rye flour and wheat groats and meal
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , price and intervention price for the products listed in Article 1 ( a), (b ) and (c) of Regulation No 120/67/EEC are fixed by this Regulation . Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;
Having regard to Council Regulation No 120/67/ Article 2 EEC (*) of 13 June 1967 on the common organ ization of the market in cereals, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1125/74 (2) and in particular The monthly increases to be applied to the target Article 6 (2) thereof ; price, threshold price, and intervention price for common wheat, durum wheat, rye, barley and maize, Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; operative for the first month of the marketing year, shall be as follows : Whereas, when the number and amount of the monthly price increases and the first month during which these are to apply are fixed, account should be taken of the storage costs and interest charges (u.a. /1 000 kg) for storing cereals in the Community and of the Common Durum need to ensure that the disposal of stocks of cereals wheat, rye Maize wheat conforms to market requirements ; and barley
Whereas, to this end, it should be laid down that August 1974 the monthly increases for common and durum 1·10 1·15 September wheat, rye and barley should commence on 1 October 2·20 2·30 September, and those for maize on 1 November ; November 3·30 3·45 1·10 whereas the monthly price increases for all the cereals should be standardized, except those for December 4·40 4·60 2·20 durum wheat, for which, in view of the higher costs 5·50 5·75 3·30 January involved, the monthly increases should be fixed at 6·90 4·40 February • 6·60 a level higher than that for the other cereals ; March 7·70 8·05 5·50 8·80 9·20 6·60 April Whereas the monthly increases in the threshold May 9·90 10·35 7·70 prices for other feedgrain should be fixed at the same level and for the same period as those for ( 11·00) ( 11·50) 8·80 June barley in order to maintain the ratio established ( 11·50 ) . 9·90 July ( 11·00) with that cereal for the whole of the marketing August 1975 ( 11·00) year, September ( 11·00)
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : The monthly increases in brackets shall apply only to the threshold price. Article 1
For the 1974/75 marketing year, the monthly increases to be applied to the target price, threshold Article 3

the marketing year, shall be the same as the monthly (u,a. /1 000 kg) increases applicable to the threshold price for barley. The monthly increases to be applied to the threshold price for wheat, meslin and rye flour and to the Article 5 threshold price for groats and meal of common or of durum wheat, operative for the first month of This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August the marketing year, shall be as follows : 1974 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
