REGULATION (EEC, EURATOM, ECSC) No 1408/74 OF THE COUNCIL of 4 June 1974 adjusting the weightings applied to the remuneration and pensions of officials and other servants of the European Communities

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN 122·5 Belgium COMMUNITIES, Germany 116·8 France 147·9 Having regard to the Treaty establishing a Single Italy 126·6 Council and a Single Commission of the European 122·5 Luxembourg Communities ; Netherlands 122·3 United Kingdom 136·5 Having regard to the Staff Regulations of Officials and Switzerland 120·7 the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of USA 173·5 the European Communities laid down by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (J ) as last amended 2. With effect from 1 January 1974 the weighting by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 2/74 (2), and applicable to pensions in accordance with the second in particular Articles 64, 65 (2) and 82 of the said Staff subparagraph of Article 82 ( 1 ) of the Staff Regulations Regulations and the first paragraph of Article 20 and shall be that given below for the Community country Article 64 of the said Conditions of Employment ; in which the person entitled to the pension declares his home to be : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 5 of Council Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 2/74 is repealed with effect from 1 January 1974 . Article 1

1 . With effect from 1 January 1974 the weightings Article 3 applicable to the remuneration of officials employed in the countries listed below shall be as follows : This Regulation shall enter into force on the day (!) OJ No L 56, 4. 3 . 1968 , p. 1 . following its publication in the Official Journal of (2) OJ No L 2, 3 . 1 . 1974, p. 1 . the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
