REGULATION (EEC) No 1440/74 OF THE COUNCIL of 4 June 1974 applying to the French overseas departments Regulation (EEC) No 1439/74 on common rules for imports

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , Article 2 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community , and in particular Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 1026/70 (-) of 25 May Article 227 thereof ; 1970 applying to the French overseas departments Regulation ( EEC ) No 1025 /70 establishing common Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; rules for imports from third countries is hereby repealed . Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 1439 /74 (*) of 4 June 1974 on common rules for imports should also apply in the French overseas departments,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 3

Article 1 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 1439/ 74 shall apply in day following its publication in the Official Journal the French overseas departments . of the European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
