REGULATION ( EURATOM) No 1943 / 74 OF THE COUNCIL of 22 July 1974 amending the conditions governing remuneration and social security for esta­ blishment staff of the Joint Research Centre employed in the Federal Republic of Germany

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, i \ Having regard to the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Community and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the Communities laid down by Regula­ tion (EEC, Euratom , ECSC) No 259/68 (') and as last amended by Regulation (EEC, Euratom , ECSC) No 1 408/74 (2), and in particular Article 94 of the Conditions of Employ­ ment of Other Servants of the Communities ; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Whereas by Regulation (Euratom) No 9/65/Euratom (3), last amended by Regulation (Euratom) No 328/74 (4) the Council laid down the conditions governing remuneration and social security for establishment staff of the Joint Nuclear Research Centre employed in the Federal Republic of Germany ; Whereas the increase in salaries made in the ' Bundesangestelltentarifvertrag' and the 'Manteltarifvertrag fiir Arbeiter des Bundes' justify a new adaptation of Regulation No 9 /65/ Euratom ,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 1 Regulation No 9/65/ Euratom shall be amended as follows, with effect from 1 January 1 974 : 1 . In Article 3 (a), ' DM 80' shall be replaced by ' DM 90'; in Article 3 (b), ' DM 100' shall be replaced by ' DM 110'; 2. The salary scale shall be replaced by the following salary scale :

Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
