REGULATION ( EEC) No 2991 /74 OF THE COUNCIL of 26 November 1974 temporarily suspending totally the customs duties applicable in the Community as originally constituted to a number of chemical products imported from the new Member States

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty (!) concerning the acces­ sion of new Member States to the European Economic From 1 January to 31 December 1975 the customs Community and to the European Atomic Energy duties applicable in the Community as originally Community, and in particular Article 33 (2) of the constituted to the following products imported from Act annexed thereto ; the new Member States shall be totally suspended :

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; CCT Whereas by Regulation (EEC) No 2990/74 (2) the heading Description of goods No Council has partially suspended the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties for the period from 1 ex. 29.35 Q 6-hexanolide ( epsilon-caprolactone) January to 31 December 1975 on a number of chem­ ical products ; ex 29.38 B II D- and DL-calcium pantothenate ex 39.01 C III Polyhexanolide (polycaprolactone) Whereas with a view to maintaining Community pref­ erence for these products the customs duties appli­ cable in the Community as originally constituted to Article 2 the products concerned imported from the new Member States should be totally suspended for the This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January same period, 1975 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
