REGULATION (EEC) No 3043 /74 OF THE COUNCIL

of 18 November 1974 on the tariff treatment applicable within the Community as originally constituted to certain products imported from the new Member States for use in the construction, maintenance and repair of certain aircraft

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas , in order to maintain the Community preference for these products, there should be total Having regard to the Act (*) concerning the suspension, over the same period, of the customs conditions of accession and the adjustments to the duties applicable within the Community as originally Treaties, and in particular the second paragraph of constituted to any such products imported from the Article 33 thereof; new Member States and intended to be used for the same purposes , Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ;

Whereas Regulation (EEC ) No 3042/74 (2 ) suspends HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : inter alia for the period from 1 January to 31 December 1975 the customs duties laid down in the Article 1 Common Customs Tariff for a number of products intended for use in the construction, maintenance or repair of certain aircraft of an unladen weight For the period from 1 January to 31 December 1975, exceeding 15 000 kg ; whereas these duties have been there shall be total suspension of the customs duties suspended to the following levels : applicable within the Community as originally constituted to the products shown in the Annex — 10*6 °/o for flexible tubes and bellows of hereto, which are imported from the new Member strengthened silicon falling within subheading States for use in the construction, maintenance or 39,07 E II ; repair of those aircraft of an unladen weight exceeding 15 000 kg listed in column 3 of the said Annex . — 7*2 %> for pre-drawn aluminium plates and sheets of variable thickness of 8 mm or more and less than 180 mm, falling within heading No 76.03 ; Article 2

— 3*9 % for tubular or bifurcated rivets falling This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January within heading No 83.09 ; 1975 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
