REGULATION ( EEC) No 3158 /74 OF THE COMMISSION of 12 December 1974 on long-term private storage aid for certain table wine
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas to relieve the market of a long-term excess COMMUNITIES , of supply as well as to eliminate the possibility of fresh difficulties arising upon the expiry of the short term storage contracts already concluded, the conclu sion of long-term contracts should be authorized for Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European wine which has been the subject of a short-term Economic Community ; contract concluded before the date of entry into force of this Regulation ;
Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage 816/70 (') of 28 April 1970 laying down additional ment Committee for Wines , provisions for the common organization of the market in wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1532/74 (2), and in particular Articles 5 (6) and 6 (4) thereof ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :
Article 1 Whereas the forward estimates for the 1974/75 wine year show that the quantities of table wine found to Long-term storage contracts for table wines of types be available at the beginning of that wine year exceed R I , R II , A I ; as well as the table wines which are total demand for the wine year by more than four economically closely linked with these types of table months' consumption ; whereas the situation in which wines, may be concluded on condition that their long-term storage contracts may be concluded actual alcoholic strength is not inferior to 10°.
