REGULATION (EEC) No 3225 /74 OF THE COMMISSION of 20 December 1974 varying in respect of the 1974/75 marketing year the closing date for the submis sion of applications for aid for flax and hemp
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage ment Committee for Flax and Hemp, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 1308 /70 ( ! ) of 29 June 1970 on the common organiza tion of the market in flax and hemp, as amended by Article 1 the Act (2) on the conditions of accession, and in parti cular Article 4 (5) thereof ; By way of derogation from Article 5 ( 1 ) of Regulation Whereas Article 5(1 ) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 771 /74, applications for aid for flax and (EEC) No 771 /74 (3) of 29 March 1974 laying down hemp in respect of the 1974/75 marketing year shall detailed rules for granting aid for flax and hemp, be submitted not later than 31 January 1975. provides that every producer of flax and hemp shall submit an application for aid each year by 31 October Article 2 of that year at the latest ; whereas in certain Member States administrative difficulties have made it impos This Regulation shall enter into force on the day sible to comply with this deadline in respect of the following its publication in the Official Journal of 1974/75 marketing year ; whereas the closing date the European Communities. mentioned above should therefore be deferred until 31 January 1975 ; It shall apply with effect from 1 November 1974.
