REGULATION ( EEC) No 971 / 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 15 April 1975 fixing the import levies on milk and milk products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN to the Commission that the levies at present in force COMMUNITIES, should be altered as shown in the Annex to this Regu­ lation , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/68 (') of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ Article 1 tion of the market in milk and milk products, as last The levies referred to in Article 14 (2) of Regulation amended by Regulation (EEC) No 740/75 (2), and in (EEC) No 804/68 are hereby fixed as shown in the particular Article 14 (8) thereof ; Annex . Whereas the import levies on milk and milk products were fixed by Regulation ( EEC) No 829/75 (3) ; Article 2 Whereas it follows from applying the rules contained This Regulation shall enter into force on 16 April in Regulation ( EEC) No 829/75 to the prices known 1975 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(a) For imports into the United Kingdom , this free-at-frontier value shall be reduced by 7-11 u.a . per 100 kg net. NB : For the purposes of heading No 04.04, the exchange rate to be applied in converting into national currencies the unit of account referred to in the subdivisions of this heading shall, notwithstanding general rule C 3 contained in Part I, Section I of the Common Customs Tariff be the representative rate, if such a rate is fixed pursuant to Council Regulation No 129 on the value of the unit of account and the exchange rates to be applied for the purposes of the common agricultural policy ( OJ No 106, 30. 10. 1962, p. 2553/62).
