REGULATION (EEC) No 1051 /75 OF THE COMMISSION of 23 April 1975 amending Regulation (EEC) No 3326/74 fixing for the 1975 fishing year refer ence prices for fishery products
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN the fish are whole or filleted ; whereas the situation as COMMUNITIES , regards the importation of these products requires that a different reference price be fixed for frozen fillets ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the Management Committee for Fishery Products has not delivered an opinion within the time Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No limit set by its Chairman , 2142/70 (') of 20 October 1970 on the common organ ization of the market in fishery products, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2682/74 (2), and in HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : particular the first subparagraph of Article 1 8 (6) thereof ; Article 1 Whereas Article 18 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 2142/70 provides inter alia for Community reference Section III of the Annex to Regulation (EEC) No prices to be fixed annually for the products listed in 3326/74 is replaced by the following : Annexes I (A) and (C), II and IV (B) to that Regula ' III . Reference prices for the frozen products listed in tion ; Annex IV (B) to Regulation ( EEC) No 2142/70 Whereas the reference prices for the 1975 fishing year were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 3326/74 (3) for the Product Form Reference price (u.a./metric ton) products specified in the said Annexes I (A) and (C) and II and for frozen mackerel as specified in the said Cod whole 340 Annex IV ( B) ; Saithe whole 230 Whereas the current position on Community markets filleted 525 regarding the importation of all the species listed in Annex IV (B) to Regulation (EEC) No 2142/70 may Haddock whole 240 make it necessary to adopt measures to protect Redfish whole 380 Community production ; whereas it is essential to fix filleted 975 reference prices in order to implement such Mackerel whole 167 measures ; whereas reference prices must therefore be filleted 380 fixed for these species ; Whereas, in accordance with the second subparagraph of Article 18 (2), the reference prices for these Article 2 products are determined on the basis of the reference price for the fresh product ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 3326/74 fixed a refer following its publication in the Official Journal of ence price for frozen mackerel which applies whether the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
