REGULATION ( EEC) No 1209/75 OF THE COMMISSION
of 30 April 1975
concerning the issue while protective measures are in force of import licences for 45 000 calves and young bovine animals for fattening
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN — in Italy in respect of a maximum of 43 700 head ; COMMUNITIES, — in Germany in respect of a maximum of 1 300 head . Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; 3 . — Anwendung Verordnung (EWG) Nr. 1209 /75 , (b) in respect of every animal for which no import Lizenz gültig in (ausstellender Mitgli licence was issued . edstaat) ; 2 . Applications for licences may be lodged up to 30 September 1975 .
Article 4 Article 7 1 . The security shall be released forthwith : Member States and the Commission shall cooperate (a) when the competent authorities in the importing closely to ensure that this Regulation is complied Member State receive proof from the importer that with . the animal in question :
— has not been slaughtered before the expiry of Article 8 the period specified in Article 3 (2) (a), or — has died as a result of sickness or accident This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 5 May 1 975 . before the expiry of that period ;
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
