REGULATION (EEC) No 1656/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 30 June 1975 fixing the amounts applicable as compensatory amounts for cereals and rice

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN concerned, the amounts applicable as compensatory COMMUNITIES, amounts in trade between the Community as origi­ nally constituted and the new Member States and Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European between the latter and third countries ; whereas it Economic Community ; should be recalled that the amounts applicable in trade between each new Member State and third coun­ Having regard to the Treaty (J ) concerning the acces­ tries and which are deducted from levies and refunds sion of new Member States to the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy are the same as those applicable in trade between the Community, signed at Brussels on 22 January 1972 ; Community as originally constituted and each of the new Member States, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 229/73 (2) of 31 January 1973 laying down general HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : rules for a system of compensatory amounts for cereals and fixing the amounts for certain products, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 860/74 (3), and Article 1 in particular Article 7 thereof ; The amounts applicable as compensatory amounts in Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No trade between the Community as originally consti­ 243/73 (4) of 31 January 1973 laying down general tuted and the new Member States and between the rules for a system of compensatory amounts for rice latter and third countries are : and ' fixing the amounts for certain products, as — in the case of products referred to in Articles 1 amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 999/74 (5), and in and 2 ( 1 ) and in subparagraph 1 of Article 2 (3) of particular Article 5 thereof ; Regulation (EEC) No 229/73, those shown in Annex A ; Whereas compensatory amounts for cereals and rice were fixed by Council Regulations (EEC) No 229/73 — in the case of products referred to in Article 1 of and (EEC) No 243/73 and by Commission Regulation Regulation (EEC) No 243/73 ' and for paddy rice, (EEC) No 1 982/74 (6) of 25 July 1974 fixing, for the semi-milled and non-milled rice, those shown in 1974/75 marketing year, the accession compensatory Annex B ; amounts for certain categories of cereals, for rice and — in the case of products falling under Article 1 (c) for processed products derived from cereals or rice, as and (d) of Regulation No 120/67/EEC and Article last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 684/75 (7) ; 1 ( 1 ) (c) of Regulation No 359/67/EEC, those whereas, however, where the situation envisaged in shown in Annex C. Article 7 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 229/73 and in Article 5 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 243/73 occurs, it Article 2 is for the Commission to decide, in accordance with these Articles and in respect of the products This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1975.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
