REGULATION ( EEC) No 1884/ 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 23 July 1975 extending the period of validity of Regulation ( EEC) No 824/75 laying down tran­ sitional measures applicable to sugar imported by the Community under prefer­ ential arrangements

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Sugar, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3330 / 74 (') of 19 December 1974 on the common organization of the market in sugar, and in particular Article 1 Article 43 thereof ; In Article 13 of Regulation ( EEC) No 824/75 the date Whereas the transitional measures applicable to sugar '31 July 1975' is replaced by '31 October 1975.' imported by the Community under preferential arran­ gements laid down by Regulation (EEC) No 824/75 (2) come to an end on 31 July 1975 ; whereas, pending Article 2 the adoption of permanent basic rules in respect of the preferential arrangements and to avoid any break in continuity, it is appropriate to extend the period of This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day application of these transitional measures until 31 following its publication in the Official Journal of October 1 975 ; the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
