REGULATION ( EEC) No 1902/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 24 July 1975 fixing the export refunds on pigmeat for the period beginning 1 August 1975

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN established on taking into account conditions of COMMUNITIES , access to the world market ;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Whereas, for products falling within subheading 02.06 Economic Community ; B I b) ex 7, the refund should be granted solely in respect of products of a quality comparable with that of products falling within subheading 02.06 B I b) 3, 4 Having regard to Council Regulation No 121 / and 5 ; 67/ EEC (') of 13 June 1967 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in pigmeat, as last amended by Whereas, for products falling within subheading 15.01 Regulation (EEC) No 1861 /74 (2), and in particular the A II, provision should be made for an amount which first sentence of Article 1 5 (5) thereof ; will cover the difference between the most favourable import prices in traditional importing third countries Whereas Article 15 of Regulation No 121 / 67/ EEC and export prices in exporting Member States ; provides that the difference between prices on the world market and prices within the Community for Whereas, because of conditions of competition in the products listed in Article 1 ( 1 ) of that Regulation certain third countries, which are traditionally major may be covered by an export refund ; importers of products falling within subheading ex 16.01 A, ex 16.01 B I and II , ex 16.02 A II , ex 16.02 B Whereas Council Regulation No 177/67/ EEC of 27 III a) 1 aa), bb) and cc), 2 and 3 , set out in the Annex June 1967 (3 ), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No to this Regulation , the refund for these products 2686/72 (4), lays down general rules for granting should be fixed taking this situation into account ; export refunds and criteria for fixing the amount of such refunds ; Whereas, since economically significant quantities of other pigmeat products are not being exported at present, there is no need to fix a refund for these Whereas it follows from applying these rules and criteria to the present situation on the market in products ; pigmeat that the refund should be fixed as indicated below ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Pigmeat, Whereas, for products falling within subheading 02.06 B I b) 3 bb) and 6 bb), the refund should be limited to an amount which takes account of the qualitative characteristics of each of the products falling within this heading and of the foreseeable trend of produc­ tion costs on the world market ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Whereas, if existing export outlets for products falling within subheading 02.06 B I b) 3 aa), 5 aa) and 6 aa) Article 1 are to be available in the future, the refund should be comparable with that fixed for dried or smoked The list of products on which the export refund products ; referred to in Article 15 of Regulation No 121 / 67/ EEC is granted , and the amount of that refund , are Whereas, for certain typical Italian products, falling hereby fixed as shown in the Annex . within CCT heading No 02.06 B I b) 3 bb), main­ taining participation by the Community in interna­ tional commerce requires arefund of an amount to be Article 2 (') OJ No 117, 19 . 6 . 1967, p . 2283/67 . (b) Only those products for which the name is certified by the competent authorities of the producing Member State can benefit from this refund . (c) The refund on sausages presented in containers with a preservative liquid is granted on net weight after deduction of the weight of this liquid . (d) The weight of a coating of paraffin corresponding to normal use in the trade is considered as part of the net weight of the sausage .
