REGULATION ( EEC) No 2246/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 29 August 1975 fixing the export levies on starch products manufactured from cereals

Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 1 955/75 (3 ) of 22 July 1975 on production refunds in Whereas, pursuant to Article 1 (3) of Regulation (EEC) the cereals and rice sectors and in particular Article 6 No 2007 / 75 for the new Member States the amounts (2) thereof ; to be considered respectively as import levy and production refund shall be the levy and the produc tion refund for the product in question respectively, Having regard to the Opinion of the Monetary minus the applicable compensatory amount ; Committee ;
Whereas, pursuant to Article 6 (2) of Regulation ( EEC) Whereas the export levy must be fixed once a week ; No 1955/ 75 , an export levy may be introduced for whereas it is altered only if application of Article 1 (2) products falling within heading No 11.09 and (a) of Regulation ( EEC) No 2007/ 75 entails an increase or a reduction of more than 0-8 unit of subheadings 1 1.08 A, 17.02 B II , 17.05 B and 23.03 A I of the Common Customs Tariff when world market account/ metric ton of basic product ; prices for maize and common wheat exceed the threshold prices less the production refund ; Whereas, if the levy system is to operate normally, levies should be calculated on the following basis : Whereas by Regulation ( EEC) No 2007/75 (4) the Commission laid down detailed rules for the applica tion of an export levy on starches ; whereas Article 1 — in the case of currencies which are maintained in ( 1 ) of this Regulation provides that a levy shall be relation to each other, at any given moment, introduced when it is found that the import levy on within a band of 2-25 % , at a rate of exchange maize or common wheat is at least three units of based on their effective parity ; account / metric ton less than ' the amount of the production refund valid in the current month and that — for other currencies, an exchange rate based on the the average of the levies in the immediately following arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each fortnight is at least three units of account/ metric ton of these currencies recorded for a given period , in less than the average of the production refund valid in relation to the Community currencies referred to that fortnight ; in the previous subparagraph ;
