REGULATION ( EEC) No 2414/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 22 September 1975 extending the period of validity of Regulation ( EEC) No 3546/73 authorizing the United Kingdom to suspend temporarily and totally the customs duties on dried asparagus, celery and onions imported from other Member States

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Fruit and Vegetables, Having regard to the Treaty of Accession (') and in particular Article 59 (4) of the Act annexed thereto ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas , under Article 59 (4) of the Act, the United Kingdom was authorized by Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 3546/73 (2 ) of 21 December 1973 to Article 1 suspend totally during the year 1974 the customs duties on dried asparagus, celery and onions imported In Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 3546/73 for from other Member States ; 'from 1 January to 31 December 1974' read 'from 1 January 1974 to 31 December 1975'. Whereas the Government of the United Kingdom has requested that the validity of this suspension be Article 2 extended for the year 1975 ; Whereas trade between Member States will benefit This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its from this supension ; whereas the request of the publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
