REGULATION ( EEC) No 2614/ 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 14 October 1975 concerning an invitation to tender for the supply of butteroil as food aid to Sri Lanka .

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES ,

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Tenders are invited, as provided in Regulation (EEC) No 2247/75, for the manufacture and delivery to Sri Lanka of a lot of 250 metric tons of butteroil . Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/68 (') of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in milk and milk products, as last Article 2 amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 740 /75 (2), and in particular Article 6 (7) thereof ; 1 . The butter to be used in manufacturing the butteroil shall be taken over from the Belgian interven­ tion agency . Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC) No 1 542/75 (3) of 16 June 1975 for the supply of milk fats under the 2. The butteroil — which shall meet the require­ 1975 food-aid programme to certain developing coun­ ments as to quality and packing laid down in the tries and to certain international organizations, Annex to Regulation ( EEC) No 2247 / 75 — shall be provides inter alia for the supply to Sri Lanka of 250 put up in containers of 5 kg. metric tons of butteroil obtained from butter held by the intervention agencies ; whereas Sri Lanka has 3 . The time limit for submission of tenders is 25 November 1975 at 12 noon . Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Article 5 (>) OJ No L 148 , 28 . 6 . 1968 , p. 13 .
