REGULATION (EEC) No 2718/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 24 October 1975 on transitional measures concerning the levying of certain monetary compensatory amounts in trade with the United Kingdom

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Article 1

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the 1 . By way of derogation from Article 9 (3 ) of European Economic Community ; Regulation (EEC) No 1380/75 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2716/75 (4), from the Regulations fixing the monetary compensatory amounts applicable for the period beginning on 27 Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No October 1975, the monetary compensatory amounts 475/75 i1) of 27 February 1975 on the exchange rates in force : to be applied in agriculture, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2638/75 (2), and in particular (a) on 26 October 1975 for pigmeat products, milk Article 4 thereof; and milk products and products covered by Regulation (EEC) No 1059/69 (5); (b) on 4 January 1976 for beef and veal products ; Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 2638/75 fixed new representative rates for the Irish pound and pound shall continue to be applied in the United Kingdom sterling to take effect in principle from 3 November for a period of two months beginning on the relevant 1975 in respect of the cereals sector, from 5 January date as specified in ( a) and (b) above to exports of 1976 in respect of the beef and veal sector and on 27 the products concerned. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
