REGULATION ( EEC) No 2823 / 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 30 October 1975 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 536/75 concerning the buying-in prices for inter­ vention on the market in beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN the buying-in of forequarters can therefore be COMMUNITIES , suspended ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Economic Community ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Beef and Veal , Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/ 68 0 of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in beef and veal , as last amended HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : by Regulation (EEC) No 1 855/74 (2), and in particular Article 6 ( 5) (c) thereof ; Article 1 ■ Whereas the intervention buying-in prices for beef and veal were fixed by Commission Regulation ( EEC) The Annex to Regulation ( EEC) No 536/75 is No 536/ 75 (3 ) of 28 February 1975, as last amended by replaced by the Annex to this Regulation . Regulation ( EEC) No 201 1 /75 (4), in respect of carcases , half carcases , compensated quarters and fore­ Article 2 quarters ; whereas the market price for the latter is at present well above the buying-in price ; whereas with This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November 1975 . a view to a balanced development for all meat prices

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
