REGULATION (EEC) No 2927/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 7 November 1975 amending Regulation (EEC) No 232/75 on the sale of butter and reduced prices for use in the manufacture of pastry products and ice cream

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas, in order to avoid speculative purchases, the COMMUNITIES, amount of the security for tendering should be varied ;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Economic Community ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/68 (*) of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in milk and milk products, as last HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : amended by Regulation (EEC) No 740/75 (2), and in particular Article 6 (7) thereof ; Article 1 Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 985/68 (3) of 15 July 1968 laying down general rules Regulation (EEC) No 232/75 is amended as follows : for intervention on the market in butter and cream, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2714/72 (4), and 1 . In Article 1 , the date '1 May 1975' is replaced by *1 in particular Article 7a thereof ; July 1975.' 2. In Article 8 ( 1 ), the amount '30 units of account' is Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 232/75 (5) replaced by '50 units of account'. of 30 January 1975 on the sale of butter at reduced prices for use in the manufacture of pastry products and ice cream, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) Article 2 No 2586/75 (6), provides that the butter put up for sale must have been taken into storage before 1 May 1975 ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its whereas, having regard to the butter storage position publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. in the Community, this date should be altered ;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
