REGULATION (EEC) No 2930/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 7 November 1975 establishing interim protective measures with regard to imports into France and the United Kingdom of certain textile products originating in the Republic of Korea and in Taiwan

Article2¶

1 . The importation into the United Kingdom of the products indicated hereunder, orig­ inating in the Republic of Korea, is hereby made subject to the production of an import authorization issued by the competent authorities in the United Kingdom .

The issue of such import authorizations is hereby suspended until 31 December 1975.

2. The provisions of paragraph 1 shall not prevent the importation of products accom­ panied by import documents issued by the competent authorities in the United Kingdom before the entry into force of this Regulation .

Article3¶

1 . This Regulation shall enter into force on the second day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

2. It shall apply until the entry into force of appropriate measures to be taken by the Council in accordance with Articles 12 (6) and 13 of Regulation (EEC) No 1439/74 or until the expiry of a period of six weeks after its entry into force whichever is the sooner.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
