REGULATION ( EEC) No 3076/75 OF THE COUNCIL of 17 November 1975 temporarily suspending the autonomous duties in the Common Customs Tariff on certain industrial products

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , Whereas, taking account of the difficulties involved in accurately assessing the development of the economic situation in the sectors concerned in the near future, these suspension measures should be Having regard to the Treaty establishing the taken only temporarily, by fixing their term of European Economic Community, and in particular validity to coincide with the interests of Community Article 28 thereof; production,

Article 1 Whereas production of the products referred to in the* present Regulation is at present inadequate or From 1 January to 30 June 1976, the autonomous non-existent within the Community and producers Common Customs Tariff duties on the products are thus unable to meet the needs of user industries listed in the Annex hereto shall be suspended at the in the Community ; level indicated in respect of each of them.

Whereas it is in the Community 's interest in certain cases to suspend the autonomous Common Customs Article 2 Tariff duties only partially, chiefly because of the existence of Community production , and in other This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January cases to suspend them completely ; 1976 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
