REGULATION ( EEC) No 3119/ 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 28 November 1975 re-establishing the levying of customs duties on worked monumental or building stone, and articles thereof (including mosaic cubes), other than goods falling within heading No 68.01 or within Chapter 69, falling within heading No 68.02 , originating in developing countries , to which the preferential tariff arran gements set out in Council Regulation ( EEC) No 3054/74 of 2 December 1974 apply
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN account ; whereas on 25 November 1975 the amounts COMMUNITIES, of imports into the Community of the products in question originating in countries and territories Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European covered by preferential tariff arrangements, reached Economic Community ; that ceiling ; whereas, bearing in mind the objectives Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No of Regulation (EEC) No 3054/74, which provides that 3054/74 (*) of 2 December 1974 establishing preferen the ceiling should not be exceeded , customs duties tial tariffs in respect of certain products originating in should be re-established in respect of the products in developing countries, and in particular Article 4 (2) question , thereof ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Article 1 (3) of that Regulation provides that customs duties may, for each category of products, be Article I suspended up to a Community ceiling, expressed in units of account, which will be equal to the sum As from 2 December 1975, customs duties suspended arrived at by adding together the value of the products in pursuance of Council Regulation (EEC) No in question imported cif into the Community in 1971 3054/ 74 of 2 December 1974, shall be re-established and coming from countries and territories covered by in respect of the following products, imported into the those arrangements, but not including products Community : coming from countries and territories already covered by various preferential tariff arrangements established CCT by the Community, and 5 % of the value of 1972 cif heading Description of goods No imports coming from other countries and from coun tries and territories already covered by such , arrange ments ; 68.02 Worked monumental or building stone , and articles thereof (including mosaic Whereas Article 2 ( 1 ) of that Regulation provides that cubes), other than goods falling within customs duties may be re-established at any time once heading No 68.01 or within Chapter 69 the Community ceiling has been reached ;
Whereas, in respect of worked monumental or Article 2 building stone, and articles thereof (including mosaic cubes), other than goods falling within heading No This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day 68.01 or within Chapter 69 , the ceiling, calculated as following its publication in the Official Journal of indicated above , should be 1 506 000 units of the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
