COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 288 /76 of 9 February 1976 temporarily and totally suspending the Common Customs Tariff duties for seed potatoes falling within subheading 07.01 A I and new potatoes falling within subheading 07.01 A II a)

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community, and in particular Article 28 thereof, From the date of entry into force of the Regulation until 28 March 1976 the Common Customs Tariff Whereas by Regulation (EEC) No 128/76 (*), the duties for seed potatoes falling within subheading Council suspended for the period up to 28 March 1976 the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duty 07.01 A I and new potatoes falling within subheading 07.01 A II a) shall be totally suspended . applicable to potatoes falling within subheading 07.01 A III b) ;

Whereas in view of the risk of increases in the cost of Article 2 living which might result from the current shortage of seed portatoes and new potatoes in the Community, This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day the Common Customs Tariff duties for these potatoes following its publication in the Official Journal of should also be totally suspended for a limited period, the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
