COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 412/ 76 of 25 February 1976 opening an invitation to tender for Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses held by the Italian intervention agency for exportation

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES,

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Tenders are invited for a quantity of 2 000 metric tons of fully matured Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses held by Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No the Italian intervention agency for the purpose of 804/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization exportation to the countries mentioned in Article 2 . of the market in milk and milk products ('), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 740 /75 (2), and in particular Article 8 (5) thereof, Article 2

— European countries except Zone D, Switzerland, Whereas, pursuant to the first subparagraph of Article Liechtenstein , Austria , Scandinavia, Finland and 8 (2) of Regulation ( EEC) No 804/68 , the terms of Greece . disposal should be fixed in such a way as to avoid disturbing the balance of the market ; whereas this aim may be achieved through the level at which the Article 3 selling price is fixed and also by limiting the destina­ tions and the quantities to be released on to the 1 . The refund shall be fixed in advance . market ; whereas , in order to ensure equal access to cheeses for prospective purchasers, the procedure of an invitation to tender should be uj.d , the detailed 2 . Whereas it is appropriate to provide i n advance fixing certificate for the quantities awarded so that the level 4. Without prejudice to Article 14 of Regulation of the refund is related to the selling price ; ( EEC) No 1 107/ 68 , the removal of the goods shall be subject to the presentation of the certificate referred to in paragraph 2 for the quantities concerned . Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products , Article 4 (') OJ No L 148 , 28 . 6 . 1968 , p. 1 .}.
