COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 907/ 76 of 21 April 1976 fixing the amounts applicable as compensatory amounts for pigmeat

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN compensatory amounts for cereals (4) should arise, the COMMUNITIES, amounts applicable as compensatory amounts, are fixed in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) Having regard to the Treaty of Accession (*), No 2770/75, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2770/75 of 29 October 1975, laying down general HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : rules for the system of accession compensatory amounts for pigmeat (2), and in particular Article 8 (3) Article 1 thereof, The amounts referred to in Article 3 of Regulation Whereas compensatory amounts for pigmeat products (EEC) No 2770/75 and applicable as compensatory were laid down in Council Regulation (EEC) No amounts for pigmeat for the period 1 May to 31 July 2770/75 and Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1976 are fixed in the Annex hereto . 1839/75 of 17 July 1975 (3); whereas, however, if the situation referred to in Article 7 of Council Regula­ Article 2 tion (EEC) No 2757/75 of 29 October 1975 laying down general rules for the system of accession This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 1976.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(a) Entry under this subheading is subject to conditions to be determined by the competent authorities . (b) The compensatory amount applicable on sausages in containers which also contain preserving liquid shall be levied or granted on the net weight, i.e. minus the weight of the liquid. Note : 1 . For products falling within subheadings 02.01 B II c), 15.01 A I, 16.01 A and 16.02 A II of the Common Customs Tariff for which the rate of duty has been bound against increase within the framework of GATT, compensatory amounts are limited to the amount resulting from this binding. 2. According to the provisions of Article 55 (6), first subparagraph of the Act concerning the conditions of accession and the adjustments to the Treaties, the compensatory , amount levied or granted by a Member State may not, with reservation to a derogation according to the second subparagraph of these provisions, exceed the total amount levied by that same Member State on imports from third countries.
