COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1334/76 of 9 June 1976 amending Regulation (EEC) No 588 /76 on detailed rules for the distillation of table wines for which the distillation contract must be approved before 15 April 1976

Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC) No 1281 /76 of 1 June 1976 amending for the second time Regulation Article 3 (EEC) No 567/76 laying down general rules governing the distillation of table wines for which a second contract must be approved before 15 April 1976 (3), The following Article is hereby added to Regulation provides for a second distillation operation ; whereas it ( EEC) No 588 / 76 : is therefore necessary to amend accordingly Commis­ sion Regulation ( EEC) No 588 /76 of 15 March 1976 'Article 2a on detailed rules for the distillation of table wines for which the distillation contract must be approved Where distillation operations are suspended before 15 April 1976 (4 ), and in particular Articles 3 , 4 pursuant to Article 3 (2) of Regulation ( EEC) No and 5 thereof ; 567/76, the distillery shall take over the wine before 31 July 1976.' Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Wines , Article 4

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 5 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 588/76 is hereby amended to read as follows : Article 1 'With respect to the first distillation operation , Member States shall notify the Commission, by 30 The following subparagraph is hereby added to Article April 1976 at the latest, of the quantities of wine 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 588 / 76 : appearing in approved distillation contracts . ' In the case of the single payment provided for in Article 2 (7) of Regulation ( EEC) No 567/76 the With respect to the second distillation operation, said payment shall be made within 30 days after Member States shall notify the Commission, by 10 distillation .' July 1976 at the latest, of the quantities of wine appearing in approved distillation contracts.'

Article2¶

Article 4 of Regulation ( EEC) No 588 / 76 is hereby amended to read as follows : This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Com munities.
