COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 1427/76

of 21 June 1976 fixing, for the 1976/77 marketing year, the monthly price increases for paddy rice and husked rice

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the 1 . For the 1976/77 marketing year, the amount of European Economic Community, each of the monthly increases provided for in Articles 7 ( 1 ) and 14 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No 1418/76 shall be as follows : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1418/ 76 of 21 June 1976 on the common organization of — 1-74 units of account per metric ton of paddy rice; the market in rice (1 ), and in particular Article 7 — 2*18 units of account per metric ton of husked (2) thereof, rice . 2. These monthly increases shall apply from Having regard to the proposal from the Commission, 1 October 1976 to 1 July 1977. The prices thus obtained for the month of July 1977 shall remain valid until 31 August 1977. Whereas, when the number and amount of the monthly increases and the first month during which Article 2 these increases are to apply are fixed, account shall be taken of the costs of storing and financing rice in 1 . Council Regulation (EEC) No 1149/76 of 17 May the Community and of the need to ensure that the 1976, fixing, for the 1976/77 marketing year, the disposal of stocks of rice conforms to market require­ monthly price increases for paddy rice and husked ments ; rice (2) is hereby repealed.
