COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC ) No 1466 / 76 of 21 June 1976 extending the arrangements laid down in Regulation ( EEC) No 3328 / 75 for imports of beef and veal originating in certain African , Caribbean and Pacific States

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN of boned meat, of 27 532 metric tons per annum COMMUNITIES , allocated as follows : Botswana 1 7 360 metric tons , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Kenya 130 metric tons, Economic Community, and in particular Article 43 thereof, Madagascar 6 956 metric tons , Swaziland 3 086 metric tons .' Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , Article 2 Having regard to the opinion of the European Parlia­ ment ('), Article 3 (3) of Regulation ( EEC) No 3328 /75 shall be replaced by the following : Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC) No 3328 / 75 of 18 December 1975 renewing the arrangements for the ' 3 . The Council , acting by a qualified majority reduction of import charges on beef and veal products on a proposal from the Commission , may, in the originating in the African , Caribbean and Pacific light of changes in the beef and veal market, of States (2 ), applies only until 30 June 1976 ; whereas conditions for the import of beef and veal or in the conditions which led to the application of these the factors governing imports into the Community exceptional measures still exist and it is therefore of the products in question originating in the ACP necessary to extend the arrangements which result States, modify or abrogate the arrangements therefrom until such time as there is a change in the provided for in this Regulation .' import conditions , Article 3

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : The second paragraph of Article 4 of Regulation ( EEC) No 3328 / 75 shall be replaced by the following : Article 1 ' It shall remain applicable until 31 December 1976 .' Article 2 of Regulation ( EEC) No 3328 /75 shall be replaced by the following : Article 4 Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day The reduction provided for in Article 1 shall be following its publication in the Official Journal of subject to an overall maximum , expressed in terms the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
