COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 1656/76 of 29 June 1976 concerning the application of Decision No 1 / 76 of the EEC-Malta Council of Association derogating from the concept of 'originating products' for reception apparatus falling within heading No 85.15 of the Brussels Tariff Nomenclature

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN adopted Decision No 1 /76 derogating from the COMMUNITIES, concept of 'originating products' for reception appa­ ratus falling within heading No 85.15 of the Brussels Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Tariff Nomenclature ; Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof, Whereas it is necessary to apply this Decision in the Community, Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ,

Whereas an Agreement between the European HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Economic Community and Malta (') was signed on 5 December 1970 and entered into force on 1 April Article 1 1971 ; Whereas a Protocol laying down certain provisions For the purpose of implementing the Agreement between the European Economic Community and relating to the Agreement establishing an association Malta, Council of Association Decision No 1 /76, of between the European Economic Community and which the text is annexed, shall apply in the Commu­ Malta (2) was signed in Brussels on 4 March 1976 and nity . entered into force on 1 June 1976 ;

Whereas under Article 25 of the Protocol concerning Article 2 the definition of the concept of 'originating products' and methods of administrative cooperation , annexed This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh to the above Protocol and forming an integral part of day following its publication in the Official Journal the Agreement, the Council of Association has of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
