COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1789/ 76 of 23 July 1976 amending Regulations ( EEC) No 1896/73 and ( EEC) No 582/76 as regards beef which may be bought into intervention in Germany, and coefficients in the beef sector
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Community ; whereas the application of these criteria COMMUNITIES , in the present market situation in beef, where a large number of certain categories of animals have appeared Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European on the markets as a result of the drought prevailing in Economic Community, part of the Community, indicates that 'Ochsen A' Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No should be included in the list of products which may 805/ 68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization be bought into intervention in the Federal Republic of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by of Germany ; Regulation ( EEC) No 568 / 76 (2 ), and in particular Whereas furthermore , the coefficients referred to in Article 6 (5) (c) and (d ) thereof, Article 6 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/ 68 , should be Whereas the buying-in prices for intervention on the fixed in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation ( EEC) market in beef applicable from 15 March 1976 were No 1302/73 for these same categories of animals ; fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 582/76 of 15 March 1976 (3 ), as last amended by Regulation Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation (EEC) No 1410 /76 (4 ) ; are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage ment Committee for Beef and Veal , Whereas the coefficients laid down in Article 6 ( 1 ) of Regulation ( EEC) No 805 /68 were established by Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 1896/ 73 of 13 July HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 1973 on detailed rules for the application of interven tion measures on the market in beef and veal (5 ), as Article 1 last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 1 333 / 76 (6); Annex I to Regulation ( EEC) No 1896/ 73 is hereby Whereas, Article 1 of Council Regulation ( EEC) No replaced by Annex I hereto . 1302/73 of 15 May 1973 laying down general rules for intervention on the market in beef and veal ( 7), as Article 2 amended by Council Regulation ( EEC) No 1 729/74 (8), provides that the qualities and cuts of The Annex to Regulation ( EEC) No 582/ 76 is hereby products to be bought in by intervention agencies replaced by Annex II hereto . shall be determined taking into account , on the one hand, the need to give effective support to the market Article 3 and to maintain the balance between the market concerned and that in competing animal products This Regulation shall enter into force on 26 July and , on the other hand , the financial burden on the 1976 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States . 1
