COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2102/76 of 25 August 1976 authorizing Denmark, Ireland and the United Kingdom to temporarily and totally suspend the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties on a number of vegetables imported from other Member States

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Denmark, Ireland and the United Kingdom should COMMUNITIES, therefore be granted ; Having regard to the Treaty concerning the accession Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation of new Member States to the European Economic are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ Community and to the European Atomic Energy ment Committee for Fruit and Vegetables, Community ( 1), signed on 22 January 1972, and in particular Article 59 (4) of the Act annexed thereto, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Article 59 (4) of the Act provides that in respect of products covered by a common organiza­ Article 1 tion of the market the new Member States may be authorized to suspend in whole or in part the customs The Governments of Denmark, of Ireland and of the duties on products imported from other Member United Kingdom are hereby authorized to suspend States ; totally until 30 September 1976 the customs duties on imports from other Member States of the products Whereas the Governments of Denmark, of Ireland listed in the Annex to this Regulation . and of the United Kingdom have applied for the full suspension until 30 September 1976 of the customs Article 2 duties on a number of vegetables falling within heading No 07.01 of the Common Customs Tariff ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its Whereas trade between Member States will benefit publication in the Official Journal of the European from this suspension ; whereas the request of Communities.
