COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 2420/76 of 5 October 1976 terminating private storage aid for table wine of the type R II

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN subsidy for the R II type of table wine (3), provides for COMMUNITIES, the granting of such aid for such wine from 16 February 1976 ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas, it has been established that the weighted average price for this type of wine during the past two Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No weeks has been higher than the activating price ; 816/70 of 28 April 1970 laying down additional provi­ sions for the common organization of the market in Whereas the conditions set out in the second indent wine ( !), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No of the first subparagraph of Article 5 (2) of Regulation 11 67/76 (2), and in particular Article 5 (8) thereof, ( EEC) No 816/70 are therefore fulfilled, Whereas Article 5 ( 1 ) of the said Regulation intro­ duces a system of aid for the private storage of table wine and grape must and lays down that the granting HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of such aid is to be subject to the conclusion of a short-term or a long-term storage contract ; whereas the first subparagraph of paragraph 2 of the said Article 1 Article lays down that short-term storage contracts may be entered into when the weighted average price From 6 October 1976, no short-term private storage of a type of table wine remains below the activating contract may be entered into for table wine of the price for two consecutive weeks and that such type R II . contracts may no longer be entered into when the weighted average price of this type of wine is above Article 2 the activating price for two consecutive weeks ;

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 330/76 of This Regulation shall enter into force on 6 October 1976 . 16 February 1976 concerning the private storage

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
