COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC ) No 2551 / 76 of 19 October 1976 increasing the indicative ceilings established by Regulation ( EEC) No 91 / 76 for imports of certain products originating in Portugal

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN Article 3 of that Interim Agreement provides for an COMMUNITIES , increase in the said indicative ceilings to levels higher than those established for 1976 by Regulation ( EEC) Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European No 91 / 76 ; whereas , therefore , that Regulation should Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 be amended , thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas pursuant to Article 2 of Protocol 1 annexed Artide 1 to the 1972 Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Portuguese Repu­ Annex 1 to Regulation ( EEC) No 91 / 76 shall be blic ('), the Council , in Regulation ( EEC) No 91 / 76 (2 ), replaced by the Annex to this Regulation . established indicative ceilings to be applied in 1976 to $ imports of certain products originating in Portugal ; Article 2 whereas, on 20 September 1976, an Interim Agree­ ment between the European Economic Community This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November 1976 . and the Portuguese Republic (3 ) was signed ; whereas

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
