COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 2858 / 76 of 23 November 1976 temporarily suspending the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties on a number of tropical products
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN this tariff reduction should be made by way of a COMMUNITIES, temporary suspension of the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties on the products in question Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European from 1 January to 31 December 1977, Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , Article 1 Whereas in its Decision of 5 April 1976 the Council approved a Community reduction , within the frame From 1 January to 31 December 1977, the auto work of the multilateral GATT negotiations, of the nomous Common Customs Tariff duties for the Common Customs Tariff duties on certain tropical products listed in the Annex shall be suspended at the products, on the understanding that this reduction levels indicated in respect of each of them . would take effect as soon as possible ; Article 2 Whereas, since the full results of these negotiations for a definitive alteration of the Common Customs This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January Tariff will not be known before 31 December 1977, 1977 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
