COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 3157 /76 of 21 December 1976 on the supply of butteroil to the International Committee of the Red Cross as emergency food aid for Lebanon pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 695/76

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN of oils and fats for Lebanon ; whereas the needs of the COMMUNITIES , country concerned warrant food aid from the Commu­ nity, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 694/76 of 25 March 1976 laying down general rules for the supply of milk fats as food aid to certain deve­ loping countries and international organizations under Article 1 the 1976 food-aid programme ('), and in particular Articles 3 and 8 thereof. Of the 3 640 metric tons of butteroil provided for as a reserve by Regulation ( EEC) No 695/76, 1 600 metric Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , tons shall be allocated to the International Committee Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC) No 695 / 76 of 25 of the Red Cross as emergency food aid for Lebanon . March 1976 on the supply of milk fats to certain deve­ loping countries and international organizations under Article 2 the 1976 food-aid programme ( 2 ) provides for a reserve of 3 640 metric tons of butteroil ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day Whereas the International Committee of the Red following its publication in the Official Journal of Cross has requested emergency food aid in the form the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
