COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3162/76 of 22 December 1976 relating to the statistical threshold in the external trade statistics of the Commu nity and statistics of trade between Member States

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Article 1

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1736/75 of 24 June 1975 on the external trade statis­ The statistical threshold, within the meaning of tics of the Community and statistics of trade between Article 24 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 1736/75, Member States ('), and in particular Articles 24 (2) and expressed in national currencies, shall not exceed : (3) and 41 thereof, — for Germany : DM 800, Whereas since these statistics are compiled in the first — for France : FF 1 500, instance by the Member States, the statistical threshold should be expressed in each national — for Italy : Lit 250 000, — for the Netherlands : F1 850 , currency ; — for the Belgo-Luxembourg Economic Union : Bfrs Whereas, to ensure uniformity in these statistics, the 12 500 , conversion into national currencies of the value of the — for the United Kingdom : £ 150, threshold, fixed at 250 units of account, is based on — for Ireland : £ 150, the rates used for the conversion of these currencies — for Denmark : Dkr 1 900 . into EUR, i.e. into the units of account employed for the presentation of the external trade statistics of the Community and statistics of trade between Member States ; whereas the amounts thus obtained should be Article 2 rounded off for the purpose of simplification ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee following its publication in the Official Journal of on External Trade Statistics , the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
