COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 137/77 of 25 January 1977 fixing the export refunds on beef and veal for the period beginning 1 February 1977
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas, in the case of edible meat of domestic COMMUNITIES, bovine animals, boned or boneless, salted and dried, there are traditional trade flows to Switzerland ; whereas, to the extent necessary to allow this trade to Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European continue , the refund must be fixed at an amount Economic Community, which will cover the difference between prices on the Swiss market and export prices in the Member States ;

Having regard to the opinion of the Monetary Committee, Whereas, in the case of other beef and veal products, a refund need not be fixed since Community participa tion in world trade in these products is not signifi Whereas Article 18 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 cant : provides that the difference between prices on the world market and prices within the Community for the products listed in Article 1 of that Regulation may be covered by an export refund ; Whereas Article 92 of the Act of Accession (5) provides that the refund on exports from the new * Member States for the products specified in Article 1 Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 885/68 of 28 (b) and (c) of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 shall be June 1968 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No corrected by the amount of the difference between the 1 504/76 (4), lays down general rules for granting customs duties on the products from which these export refunds and criteria for fixing the amount of products are produced ; such refunds ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 805/68 is granted and the amount of that refund is fixed as shown in the Annex . Article 1 Article 2 The list of products on which the export refund This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February referred to in Article 18 of Regulation (EEC) No 1977 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
