COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 234/ 77 of 2 February 1977 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 171 / 77 introducing a countervailing charge on certain varieties of sweet oranges originating in Algeria and Greece

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES , Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 of Regulation ( EEC) No 171 /77 is replaced Economic Community, by the following Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 'A countervailing charge of 0.11 unit of account 1035/72 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization per 100 kilograms net is applied to fresh sweet of the market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last oranges (subheading ex 08.02 A I of the Common amended by Regulation (EEC) No 795/76 (2 ), and in Customs Tariff) originating in Greece other than particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) the varieties Moro, Tarocco, Biondo comune thereof, ( Blanca comuna , Blonde commune), Grano de Oro ( Imperial , Sucrena), Baladi , Pera, Macetera, Whereas Regulation ( EEC) No 171 /77 (3 ) introduced a Pineapple, Blood oval ( Doblefina, Double fine), countervailing charge on certain varieties of sweet Portuguese Sanguine, Sanguina redonda (Entre­ oranges originating in Algeria and Greece ; fina), Surinam varieties and the ordinary Sanguina Whereas Regulation ( EEC) No 1035 /72 laid down the variety, with the exception of Navel sanguines conditions under which a charge is introduced, (improved Double fine, Washington sanguina, amended or abolished ; whereas, if these conditions Sanguina grande) and Maltese sanguines.' are taken into consideration the countervailing charge Article 2 on Algerian products must be abolished and the coun­ tervailing charge on Greek products must be This Regulation shall enter into force on 3 February amended , 1977 .
