COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 282/77 of 8 February 1977 on the supply of skimmed-milk powder to the Syrian Arab Republic as emer­ gency food aid pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 2018 /76

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the Syrian Arab Republic has submitted a COMMUNITIES , request for emergency food aid in the form of skim­ med-milk powder ; whereas its needs warrant food aid Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European from the Community, Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1298/76 of 1 June 1976 laying down general rules for HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : the supply of skimmed-milk powder as food aid to certain developing countries and international organi­ A rticle 1 zations under the 1976 programme ('), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2017/76 (2 ), and in particular 700 tonnes of the 8 200 tonnes of skimmed-milk Article 7 thereof, powder provided for as a reserve by Regulation (EEC) Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , No 2018 /76 shall be allocated to the Syrian Arab Republic as emergency food aid . Whereas Council Regulation ( EEC) No 2018/76 of 27 July 1976 on the additional supply of skimmed-milk powder as food aid to certain developing countries , Article 2 international organizations and non-governmental organizations under the 1976 programme (3) provides This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day for a reserve of 8 200 tonnes of skimmed-milk following its publication in the Official Journal of powder ; the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
