COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 337 / 77 of 14 February 1977 temporarily and totally suspending the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties on potatoes falling within subheadings 07.01 A II a) and III b)

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European The autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties on Economic Community, and in particular Article 28 the following goods shall be totally suspended for the thereof, period indicated in respect of each of them :

Having regard to the draft Regulation submitted by CCT the Commission , Description of goods Period heading No Whereas, in view of the risk of increases in the cost of living as a result of the present inadequate supplies of 07.01 Alia) New potatoes 1 to 31 March 1977 potatoes in the Community, the suspension of the autonomous Common Customs Tariff duties currently 07.01 A III b) Other potatoes 1 March to applying pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 2894/76 (') 15 april 1977 and expiring on 28 February 1977 should be extended from 1 to 31 March 1977 for potatoes falling within Article 2 subheading 07.01 A II a) and from 1 March to 15 April 1977 for potatoes falling within subheading This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 07.01 A III b), 1977 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
