COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 539/77 of 14 March 1977 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 2452/ 76 on the transfer to the Italian interven­ tion agency of butter held by the intervention agencies of other Member States

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas this quantity could not be transferred within COMMUNITIES , the requisite time ; whereas it is therefore necessary to extend the date originally laid down for the marketing Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European of the butter, Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 804/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of the market in milk and milk products ('), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 559/76 (2 ), and in Article 1 particular Article 6 (6) thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , In Article 1 ( 1 ) of Regulation ( EEC) No 2452/76 the date '1 April 1977' is hereby replaced by '1 July 1977'. Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 2452/76 of 5 October 1976 on the transfer to the Italian interven­ tion agency of butter held by the intervention agen­ Article 2 cies of other Member States (3), laid down that a quan­ tity of 10 000 tonnes of this product was to be made This Regulation shall enter into force on the day available to the said intervention agency for placing following its publication in the Official Journal of on the Italian market before 1 April 1977 ; the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
