COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 569/ 77 of 18 March 1977 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 232/75 on the sale of butter at reduced prices for use in the manufacture of pastry products and ice-cream

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community , HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 804/ 68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in milk and milk products ('), as last Article 1 amended by Regulation (EEC) No 559/76 (2), and in particular Article 6 (7) thereof, In Article 1 of Regulation ( EEC) No 232/75 the date '1 May 1976' is hereby replaced by '1 July 1976'. Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 985 / 68 of 15 July 1968 laying down general rules for Article 2 intervention on the market in butter and cream (3 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 2714/72 (4), and In Annex I to Regulation ( EEC) No 232/75 items I in particular Article 7a thereof, (bb), II (bb) and III (bb), there is hereby added the following phrase : Whereas Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 232/ 75 of 30 January 1975 on the sale of butter at reduced ' Either 150 g of stigmasterol or 170 g prices for use in the manufacture of pastry products of stigmasterol (C29H48O = A-5-22-stigmastene-3­ and ice-cream (5), as last amended by Regulation beta-ol) at least 85 % pure, calculated on the ( EEC) No 2805/76 (6), lays down that butter put up for product ready for incorporation, with a maximum sale must have entered into storage before 1 May of 7-5% of brassicasterol (C2sH460 = A-5-22­ 1976 ; whereas , as a result of the development of ergostene-3-beta-ol ) and with a maximum of 4 % stocks in the Community, this date should be sitosterol (C29H50O = A-5-stigmastene-3-beta-ol)'. changed to 1 July 1976 ; Whereas, moreover, Regulation ( EEC) No 232175 Article 3 provides that certain products listed with certain parti­ culars in the Annexes, shall be incorporated in the This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day butter sold , for the purpose of controlling its use ; following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
